Hiking Mount Ararat 5-Days Ararat Tour 19-23 May
Day 1 | “Meeting and Transfer to Mount Ararat”
We will meet you at the prearranged meeting point in the city. After a welcome and briefing session, we’ll transfer by vehicle to Mount Ararat Çevirme Village, located at an altitude of 2,200 meters. Here, your equipment will be loaded onto mules for transport to the campsite, and the adventure begins. A light hike will take us to the base camp at 2,800 meters, where we’ll settle in and spend the night under the stars.

Day 2 | 3,900m “Acclimatization Day”
On the second day, we continue our adventure with an acclimatization hike up to 3,900 meters. The trek takes about 4-5 hours and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Once at 3,900 meters, we’ll rest for an hour and take short walks around the area to adapt to the altitude. We’ll then head back down to the base camp at 2,800 meters for an evening of rest and preparation for the climb ahead.

Day 3 | 3,500m “Second Camp Establishment”
After breakfast, we’ll ascend to the second camp, located at 3,500 meters. This trek will take 3-4 hours and provide opportunities to marvel at the mountain’s diverse terrain. Once at the camp, we’ll set up for the night, conduct a final equipment check, and prepare our packs for the summit climb, which begins early the next morning.

Day 4 | 5,137m “Summit Day”
On summit day, the climb begins in the early hours as set by your guide. The hike to the summit at 5,137 meters is approximately 8 hours of challenging yet rewarding effort. Once at the summit, we’ll take about 30 minutes to enjoy the incredible panoramic views across the region. After this unforgettable experience, we’ll begin our descent back to the second camp at 3,500 meters, where we’ll rest for the night.

Day 5 | “Return and Farewell”
On the final day, we’ll descend back to the 2,200-meter point, the vehicle transfer location. This trek takes around 4 hours. From here, we’ll transfer back to the designated city meeting point. Your incredible Mount Ararat adventure concludes here, leaving you with lasting memories of this breathtaking experience.
