Hiking Mount Ararat 7-Days Ararat Tour 25-31 May
Day 1 | “Welcome Day”
On this day, we will greet you at Igdir or Agri Airport and arrange your transfer to the hotel where you’ll be staying. Take the chance to rest and prepare for the exciting Mount Ararat adventure ahead.

Day 2 | 2,800m “Mount Ararat Base Camp”
After breakfast, we’ll travel by vehicle to Çevirme Village, located at an altitude of 2,200 meters. At this point, our local carriers will transport your equipment to the camp with the help of mules. The hiking portion begins here. After about five hours of trekking amidst beautiful landscapes, we’ll reach the base camp at 2,800 meters altitude.

Day 3 | 3,900m “Acclimatization Hike”
Today, we ascend to 3,900 meters for an acclimatization hike. This is a more challenging stage compared to Day 2, but after a 4-5 hour hike, we’ll arrive at the altitude needed for acclimatization. Once there, we’ll rest for an hour and go on short exploratory walks. We’ll then head back down to the base camp at 2,800 meters to rest and regain our energy for the summit climb.

Day 4 | 3,500m “Second Camp on Mount Ararat”
After an early breakfast, we set off to climb to the second camp at 3,500 meters. Once we reach the second camp, we’ll settle in for the night. Later in the day, we’ll conduct an equipment check and prepare our backpacks for the summit attempt, which will begin at midnight.

Day 5 | 5,137m “Summit Day”
The summit day begins early in the morning as determined by our guide. After an approximately 8-hour trek, we’ll reach the summit at 5,137 meters. You will have about 30 minutes to rest and take in the breathtaking views. Afterward, we’ll begin our descent back to the second camp at 3,500 meters, where we’ll spend our final night on the mountain.

Day 6 | “Return to Dogubeyazit”
After breakfast, we’ll descend to 2,200 meters—the vehicle transfer point. This descent takes about four hours. Upon reaching the transfer location, we’ll return to the hotel for some rest. Later in the day, enjoy a cultural tour of the area by vehicle. To close the day, a celebratory dinner will take place to honor your achievement, and you’ll receive climbing certificates.

Day 7 | “Farewell Day”
The final day of this unforgettable adventure has arrived. We will ensure you reach the airport safely for your departure. We look forward to joining you again on future tours and expeditions in new destinations.
